Laundry Operative

This hands-on role supports the daily operation of a commercial laundry service providing hospitality-grade linen to hotels, serviced accommodation, short-term lets, and restaurants. You will work with laundry equipment, maintain hygiene standards, and prepare clean linen for dispatch.

• Sort, load, and unload commercial washing machines and dryers

• Handle hospitality-grade linen, bedding, towels, and table linen

• Operate equipment in line with training and safety procedures

• Fold and prepare clean linen for dispatch

• Maintain strict separation of clean and used linen

• Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards

• Report damaged or missing items in line with internal procedures

• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with physical and repetitive tasks

• Able to follow instructions accurately and work to quality standards

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Previous laundry or hospitality experience helpful but not essential (training provided)

• £13.50 per hour
