Information for people applying for opportunities with Helprite Group or its businesses.

Who this notice covers
This notice applies to candidates who submit job applications, CVs, supporting information or recruitment enquiries to Helprite Group or an associated employing business. A recruiting entity may issue a more specific notice.
Information collected
We may process name and contact details, CV and work history, qualifications, employment eligibility information, application responses, interview notes, references where appropriate, and correspondence about your application. Additional checks are undertaken only when appropriate and legally justified.
Purpose and lawful basis
We use applicant information to review suitability, communicate with candidates, arrange recruitment stages, assess applications fairly, meet legal requirements and take steps before a potential employment contract. Legitimate interests and legal obligations may also apply depending on the processing.
Sensitive data and equal opportunities
Some recruitment information may be special-category data. We only request and use it where necessary with an applicable condition under UK data protection law. Information requested for reasonable adjustments should be handled confidentially and shared only with those who need it.
Who may access applicant information
Relevant hiring managers, authorised HR personnel, recruitment service providers and, where relevant, a Helprite employing business may access application information for genuine recruitment purposes. Access should be limited and protected.
Retention and future opportunities
Unsuccessful applicants’ details are retained only for a justifiable period set by the employing organisation’s recruitment retention schedule. We will explain and obtain consent where necessary before retaining information for unrelated future vacancies.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification and other applicable data protection rights, subject to lawful limitations. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
