Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) Community & Care Services

This role supports high-quality community-based nursing across Edinburgh and the Lothians, managing complex cases and working within professional and regulatory frameworks.

• Complete clinical assessments and develop individualised care plans

• Deliver safe, effective community-based nursing care in line with best practice

• Administer medication safely, including controlled drugs in accordance with policy

• Provide clinical interventions such as wound care, catheter management, and palliative/end-of-life support

• Supervise and support Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) where required

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation

• Liaise with GPs, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support continuity of care

• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and relevant regulatory standards

• Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN) with no restrictions

• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience

• Right to work in the UK

• Willingness to undergo PVG checks (processed by the organisation)

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
